Elizabeth turns 28

Brian and I got the privilege to celebrate Elizabeth's 28th birthday with her and Kurt 2 weekends ago. Spending time with this couple is seriously one of my favorite things to do. When we arrived at the Kister's abode, we were not only quickly greeted by the fur kids- Gracie and Minnie, Elizabeth also had a yummy spread of appetizers hot and waiting on us.


The guys prepared the grill and started the fire pit while Elizabeth and I chatted over a glass of wine and I gave her her birthday present. We ate a delicious dinner of grilled chicken, mac and cheese, and a strawberry feta spinach salad. Oh and rolls. My Brian loves some bread with his dinner and sweet Elizabeth knows this about him and had him some. After stuffing ourselves at dinner, we all magically made room for some peanut butter pie I had made for us to celebrate the occasion.



The weather was perfect. It was so relaxing to sit by the fire pit and enjoy after dinner. The laughs were flowing non stop.
