Fun story- Brian was friends with each of the them individually before they even meet each other. And the first time they met was at our house at a cookout we were hosting the year before we got married. Jay and Emily were both planning on attending our wedding separately and we suggested they drive together to Macon. Apparently they hit it off, started dating not too long there after, and now are married.
We had a full weekend of events: Beach Bonfire Bash on Thursday, the Rehearsal Dinner on Friday and of course the Wedding Saturday.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held at an incredible venue, Eden Gardens State Park.
The ceremony itself was held under a huge oak tree draped in live moss- so picturesque.
For the wedding party the ladies worn elegant navy dresses with simple white/blush/green flowers while the men worn navy suits with navy and pink bow-ties. These adorable little boys- nephews of the groom- were the ring bears and they were lead down the aisle by Jay's dog.

After the ceremony guest were invited to a cocktail hour, during which several lawn games were available.
In honor of the grooms favorite beverage, the couple had a Bourbon Bar, stocked with several of his favorites for all the share. I love the burlap drapes lined with pictures of Jay and Emily as well as the barrels.
The evening was spent dancing with a fun band, eating delicious food, connecting with friends both old and new, and toasting to the new Mr. and Mrs.
Sadly my picture of their exit is less than stellar but they drove off on the bicycle built for two.
That wedding looks like it was so much fun!! Can't wait to see you for another fun-filled wedding weekend!
