Many people connect or feel closest to God in many different ways. May it be in nature, sitting in a certain chair in your home, reading from The Word, being silent in prayer. I for one connect through songs, through hymns, through praise and worship. Many times my prayer will simply be a song.

The song, Blessings, by Laura Story has been such a prayer of mine lately. It is an incredible song about how God can use the trials of our lives as blessings in disguise. Sometimes we get so caught up in our wants and our needs, that we fail to stop to think about what God wants for us. He always has our best interest in mind. Blessings echos that hopeful peace, a peace in knowing, no matter what, this too is in Gods Ultimate and Sovereign Plan.

I wanted to share this song with you. When you face a hardship and do not receive the answer from God you are looking for, pause for a moment. He could be sending His provisions to you already and you just do not recognize them.
