Farm Living is the Life for Me

Okay not really but that Green Acres theme song keeps going through my head while I type this post. This past weekend my favorite girls from college got together for our annual Secret Santa gift exchange. With the Christmas season being so hectic, and with some of us living several hours away, we decided to plan this for post Christmas and to include the boys. I do not know who was more excited, the guys or the girls. Jill and Davis were so gracious and volunteered their farm house to accommodate us all.

The first thing we did once everyone arrived was the gift exchange and the Ornament Dirty Santa. Check out our loot.

Maggie's gift to her Secret Santa was really big.

I do not know how this happens but more times than not I seem to draw Hollie and she draw me. The tradition continued this year- yay. Hollie got me awesome scarf, necklace collection and this gorgeous mirror. I am beyond excited.

The next day the guys went out on a Quail hunt while us girls got ready, went to town to check out Kim and Jill's home renovations and grab lunch. It was a perfect afternoon.

Once back at the farm, we all loaded up on the wagon for a ride. It was a bit chilly but this was so fun.

The guys and some girl shot skeet, warmed up around the fire pit, and played board games the rest of the evening. My abs are truly soar after all the laughing we did.

I love my friends and their significant others so much. We always have a blast when we get together and we are already planning our next fabulous weekend together.
