Company Christmas Parties

This past week Brian and I each had our company Christmas Parties to attend. And fortunately both companies extended the invitation to the worker's spouse (or a plus one).

Brian's company, McMillian & Associates, Inc, held their party at Atlanta Fish Market located in Buckhead. We had both been years ago with Renee and were thrilled to be returning. It was so great for me to meet and spend time with the people Brian spends so much of his time with. They truly are a family and we feel truly blessed that Brian is a part of such an outstanding company who is focused on Christian values and community outreach.

Connected Fibers' Company Christmas Party was held on Friday and had two parts. First, everyone (front office as well as production) closed down early to head to a fun filled afternoon bowling @ Brunswick Zone. Let me just remind you that many people in our production room had never heard of bowling yet alone know the rules. After a quick practice (aka total chaos) where everyone was throwing their bowling balls all at the same time down the lanes (regardless if the lane was reserved for our group or not, nor taking into consideration if the clearing equipment was down or not) I was frazzled, seriously having second thoughts about an out-of-the-office party. Luckily everyone caught on really quickly and had a great time.

After bowling the front office group met for dinner at Spice Brick Oven Kitchen for a delicious meal of tapas and cocktails. This is the only time each year when everyone is able to get together with each others spouses so the party went late into the night as we all had a year's worth of catching up to cover.
