Pat Green Concert

We had such a fun night last Friday. Pat Green came to town for a concert at Buckhead Theater so Brian and myself along with Ryals, Lauren and Ryals' brother Jack all got tickets a couple weeks ago.

Before the concert we ate a yummy dinner at Genki, a fabulous little sushi place that we could then walk to the concert from. Poor Lauren had been feeling quiet ill and decided after dinner to skip out on the concert and gave her ticket to James, one of Ryals' other brothers. Brian's sister Melanie, who it Pat's publicist, pulled a few strings and got us 4 backstage passes for the Meet and Greet with Pat before he came on. I have actually had the pleasure of meeting Pat before, at Melanie and Alex's wedding this past September. He is one of the nicest, laid back guys, always smiling and having a good time. We got to talk to him for a bit and have our picture taken before the show.

The concert was awesome! It seriously felt like we were back in Athens at The Georgia Theater.

I am so happy we got to go to the concert and are so appreciative to Melanie for getting us the Meet and Greet passes. Lauren, we missed you but glad you are feeling a bit better. We will do it all over again next time he is in town.
